About Us

The Evan M Snyder Foundation is a non-profit organization established in honor and memory of Evan Matthew Snyder who unexpectedly passed away in June 2023. It is this Foundation’s belief that through hardship there is hope. Our goal is to honor Evan through supporting other young adults who embody the characteristics Evan held so dear- hard work, ambition, and school pride.

About Evan

Evan Matthew Snyder was born March 4, 2007 to parents Amanda and Derrick Snyder. Born four weeks early, Evan came into the world with the same tenacity that he lived his life. At the age of three, Evan became big brother to Owen. From a young age Evan took an interest in sports, kicking a ball even before he could walk well. Evan enjoyed all sports he tried including soccer, youth baseball, flag football, and eventually golf. His accomplishments extended to the academic setting as well; earning top grades from elementary through his high school career. A proud student of C. Milton Wright High School, Evan was an integral part of their soccer program and also a member of the Chess and Finance Clubs. Giver of the best and hardest hugs, Evan had a knack for making others feel included while also making them laugh. Friends and family remember Evan as hardworking, intelligent, funny, a bit of an instigator, but above all else, a kindhearted young man.
